Hi, I am Julian Kaltschmidt — or Blocki, named after my 3D artist name Blockschmidt.

My passion as a 3D artist is rooted in the power of 3D animation which enables me to create immersive storytelling visuals that connect to the viewer. Thereby, those experienced 3D visuals form a deeper understanding of a story, product, or brand which leaves a lasting impression.

Over the last years, I have worked on numerous large-scale 3D productions for international clients such as Asap Rocky, Champion, and Sony Music, to name a few. My experience within the fashion, music, and corporate industry has shown me how impactful those experienced 3D visuals are for the connection of people to a label, artist, and company.

I use several programs for my 3D production pipeline — depending on the project —Blender, Marvelous Designer, Adobe After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter, and Substance Sampler.
